Manufacturer of PPE needed to forecast the future of manufacturing, specifically to determine the potential threat to sales of PPE.

Methodologies: 

We completed approximately 35 qualitative in-depth interviews (IDIs) with thought leaders and conducted exhaustive secondary research.

The result: 

Our research and analysis revealed that the PPE business would experience relatively flat growth for the next five to ten years but in 7-10 years the proliferation of robotics in manufacturing will have a direct impact on PPE sales. Alternative business models were also explored.
